Job Purpose
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR
- (1 KA) Plan and assist contract department carrying out the quantity surveying task which comply with the design and specifications
- (1 KA) Prepare & assess progress claims, sub-contract documents, variation order claim and evaluate bidding proposals
- (1 KA) Prepare and check draft tender document, attend pre-tender meeting, tender interview, calling of tender/quotation
- (1 KA) Prepare contractual claims on work progress and variation works to client, includes issuing invoice to client
- (1 KA) Handle all project contractual matters for projects and prepare specific project tender documents, ITB, contract agreements, etc
- (1 KA) Administer subcontractors claim against Subcontract Price
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: SENIOR CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR
- (1 KA) Identify contractual requirements with client and prepare required submission to client, includes insurance coverage, Bank Guarantee. Indemnity Letter, etc.
- (1 KA) Execute Contract Administration (prepare/resolve change proposal), assist project team in contractual matters i.e. contractual disputes and contractual clarifications, claim assistance and processing
- (1 KA) Call for quotations and bidding
- (1 KA) Track the contract in terms of project budget & expenditure recoverable, contract management and invoicing in order to achieve profitability for the project
- (1 KA) Collate, analyze and provide inputs (e.g. contingency costs and competitive contract unit rates) based on previous and current projects to facilitate Management decision-making and formulation of tendering strategies
- (1 KA) Prompts Project Manager if there are any found abnormalities to avoid commercial implications in order to safeguard project's interest
- (1 KA) Provide contracts administration support to Project team
- (1 KA) Maintain correct and proper documentation related to contractual claims to client and claims from subcontractors
- (1 KA) Prepare and check subcontract tender document, evaluate bid proposals, prepare bid evaluation report, negotiate and finalize subcontract pricing and check subcontract agreement.
- (1 KA) Review subcontract tender document, evaluate bid proposals, review bid evaluation report, negotiate and finalize subcontract pricing and prepare subcontract agreement
- (1 KA) Verify accuracy of subcontractors claims, process subcontractors invoices, prepare Payment Certificate (Engineering Cert)

- Degree in Quantity Survey or Engineering or equivalent
- 5 years of relevant experience
